Tripp Lite's PowerVerter Alternative Power Source (APS) 2012 can function as an extended run UPS system or as a mobile DC to AC power inverter that will recharge its battery source (user supplied) when connected to an AC power source. The unit converts 12V DC to 120V AC and features an output power rating of 2,000 watts. Unique design features output hardwireable for 120 volts, diagnostic LEDs, and a switch to allow the user to select between off/automatic/charge-only settings. High-efficiency operation conserves batteries to prolong run time with frequency control for operating stability.
